Oklahoma State Cowboys Center Added Yo Rimington Trophy Watch List

Oklahoma State center Joe Michalski is on the 2024 Rimington Trophy preseason watch list, which recognizes the top center in college football.

In 2023, Michalski led Power Five players with 1,035 offensive snaps and was one of only two FBS players to block over 600 pass plays without allowing a sack. He earned honorable mention for Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, was a team captain, and helped his offensive line rank high in rushing, fewest sacks allowed, and fewest tackles for loss allowed. Michalski also achieved first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors and was one of two Cowboys to start all 14 games.

The Rimington Trophy's top 40 centers list is curated with input from Pro Football Focus, which grades player performance. The winner will be selected from the three All-America teams chosen by the Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News, and the Football Writers Association of America.
