Governor Kevin Stitt named Tulsa native Brian Bobek to be the state's Chief Operating Officer.
Bobek is a former member of the state virtual charter school board and worked at BP before taking a position as Stitt's Deputy Chief of Staff in Nov. 2023.
"Brian has been a true partner in our mission to make Oklahoma a top ten state," Governor Stitt said. "His integrity, vision, and passion for our state inspire those around him. I am excited to see him thrive in his new role, and I know he will continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Oklahomans."
In his new role, Bobek will oversee cabinet secretaries, advisors and state agencies.
“I am honored to take on this new responsibility,” Bobek said. “I am grateful to Governor Stitt for his trust and confidence in me. With the Lord’s guidance, I look forward to building on the progress of the Stitt administration and serving the great people of Oklahoma."
