Oklahoma Democratic Party Chair On DNC

Oklahoma Democratic Party Chair Alicia Andrews helped to nominate Vice President Kamala Harris for President Tuesday night.

“Hello from Oklahoma, where we fight for a future all Oklahomans can be proud of. The future where working families thrive, our diversity is our strength, and our values like freedom, equality and opportunity makes Oklahoma proud. We cast our 36 votes for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz,” she said

She was in Chicago on Thursday, where Harris will officially accept that nomination. She joined News On 6 from just outside the Democratic National Convention floor about the experience.
