64-Year-Old Man In ICU After Crash Mayes County

A 64-year-old man was severely injured in a crash in Mayes County on Wednesday, authorities say.

In an earlier report, Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that Dean Camren of Spavinaw died in the crash but later corrected that information, confirming that Camren is still alive. He was flown to a hospital after the crash with several injuries. Two other passengers in the car with Camren were also taken to the hospital.

The crash happened on Indian Springs Road at NE 455 Dr. near Spavinaw just before 5 p.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
