Tulsa’s newest and largest river feature ever is now open to the public.

The $27 million pedestrian bridge also opened on Friday.

A lot of people have been waiting for the opening of a recreational flume on the river, a lake for boating, and the return of the pedestrian bridge.

The ribbon was cut at 4 o’clock by the Mayor before a crowd of several hundred people, and then a marching band led a procession across the new Williams Crossing Bridge. There were boats in the water already. And the people going out on the bridge for the first time liked what they saw.
