A Tulsa startup incubator is putting its support behind four innovative energy companies.

Leaders with Rose Rock Bridge say they help startups connect with large corporations to provide funding, piloting support, and access to customers in the Tulsa region.

Rose Rock Bridge hosted a showcase last month where 15 new energy startups presented their ideas to big energy companies and investors in Oklahoma.

Four startups were selected to receive support, including Terra Watts, HXMX, Geothermal Radar, and Relegance.

Kastle Jones is the managing director of Rose Rock Bridge and said these companies were chosen because they have the potential to grow in the region and can meet important needs in the energy industry.

Jones said the companies would receive a full year of support from Rose Rock Bridge, including $100,000 in funding, office space in Tulsa, and advice from experts to help them grow their businesses.

“These startup companies that we're bringing in could potentially secure millions of dollars in funding to be able to grow their teams and scale in Tulsa," Jones said. "And what we would hope to accomplish through that is to create an entrepreneurial community, break down barriers for entrepreneurs, and create the next generation of successful entrepreneurs and mentors."

Rose Rock Bridge plans to hold another showcase next year.
