Rams Overcome Trojans In Second Half Of Game, 42-24

In an exciting matchup, the Owasso Rams overcame the Jenks Trojans with a strong performance in the second half, ultimately winning the game 42-24.

The most eye-opening result from week zero had to be Owasso's upset of two-time defending state champ Bixby 40-21.

Not far behind, Jenks dismantling Edmond Santa Fe 48-3.

The Rams and the Trojans, both with momentum, faced off Friday night for the Tulsa Tech Game of the Week.

Three out of the last four meetings have been decided by one score.

First quarter, the home team strikes first. Quarterback Owen Jones fakes the bubble to the right, goes down the boundary, and what a catch by Sam Stone! The Princeton commit comes down with it. 7-0 Jenks.

Second quarter, Owasso answers. Jayson Moll with a crease, steps out of an ankle tackle and scores with incredible speed, making it a 7-7 ballgame.

Trojans have a good running back too. K.D. Jones carrying tacklers with him into the end zone, 14-7 with Jenks back in front.

The Rams explode in the third and fourth quarters, and they take the game 42-24.
