Sex Offender Jimcy McGirt Appears In Court Following Seminole Nation Arrest

The nonprofit website NonDoc reports convicted sex offender Jimcy McGirt was back in court on Tuesday for the first time since being arrested by the Seminole Nation for failing to register.

He was released from federal prison in May after serving 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a child.

The affidavit said he talked to some children in the Seminole neighborhood and asked them where they live, which violates his rules of release.

He denied talking to the children.

McGirt said he was staying there because his car broke down and he was waiting for it to be fixed.
