Tulsa County commissioners sent a second letter to the state fire marshal asking him to prevent Berryhill firefighters from doing safety inspections.

County commissioners first brought up the issue with the state back in June.

They said since Berryhill is not incorporated, they cannot have jurisdiction to do inspections.

The county has not heard back from the State Fire Marshal's Office, so now they sent a letter to the state attorney general.

Berryhill's fire chief has said Tulsa County does fewer inspections, charges more and does not share needed information with the department.
