Tulsa Police arrested a man they say led officers on a low-speed pursuit through Brookside Thursday.

Officers say they tried to stop Christopher Helton near 31st and Riverside, but he kept driving circling neighborhoods near 41st and Peoria. According to TPD, Helton tossed a bag of meth out of the car window and then drove over a brick wall, through several backyards and into a fence.

Police posted photos of guns and ammo they said they found in the car. Officers say a K-9 found Helton hiding in a backyard.

Helton is wanted in multiple counties on charges related to drug trafficking and firearms. He is expected to face additional charges for the pursuit, drug possession, and possession of the guns and ammunition recovered from the vehicle.
