13-Year-Old Arrested, Facing Terrorism Hoax Charge In Poteau For Alleged School Threat

Poteau Police arrested a 13-year-old connected with a school threat investigation.

Police said the threat didn't say a specific school so they increased their presence on Monday at all Poteau schools.

Investigators said they tracked down the teenage suspect through interviews and other tactics.

The teen was arrested at his home in Poteau and now he faces a felony charge of terrorism hoax.

His name has not been released since he is a minor.
