Crafty Mom: Easy DIY Halloween Decorations

Halloween will be here soon and you may be looking at new ways to decorate. We called up our crafty mom Courtnay Gosnell to help us make these ghost rope decorations.

Ghost Rope Decor

Supplies:

· White Craft Rope

· Peel & Stick Black Felt

· Clear E6000 Adhesive Glue

· Then whatever you would like to decorate…Pillowcase, Halloween Trick or Treat Bags, Terra Cotta Pots etc

Instructions:

1. Lay out your pillowcase/bag. Iron out any wrinkles before you start your project.

2. Cut your rope. Begin by measuring out your first pieces of rope to the length you want your ghost to be. Do so by making a rainbow. Then you will lay another piece of rope inside of the outer “rainbow” and cut to length. As you move closer into the center of the ghost, the pieces will become shorter. Continue to do so until you have formed your ghost.

3. Time to glue. Lift up the outer rope and glue down. Make sure to leave the bottom loose so that it can look like it is floating. Continue to work your way through each rope until each layer is glued down.

4. Cut out and adhere the felt eyes to your ghost decoration
