Cushing Man Arrested, Accused Of Child Sexual Abuse

Payne County deputies arrested a Cushing man they say sexually abused a child for years.

The affidavit says the victim told investigators when they were 9 years old, Richard Thackray III, touched the child and made the child touch him while they watched TV.

It went on to say Thackray told the victim not to tell anybody because he would get in trouble with the police and the child listened because Thackray was someone they trusted.

Thackray is charged with sexual abuse of a child.
