The weekend is here. Six In The Morning Weekend Anchor Kristen Weaver shares all the fun and exciting things happening across Green Country.

The Tulsa State Fair

A reminder that the Tulsa State Fair has kicked off for its 11 days of Awesome and this weekend is the first fair weekend!

There is a packed lineup of entertainment, food, rides, exhibits, and more.

Chalk It Up

The Chalk art festival "Chalk it up" is back in Broken Arrow this weekend, with 50 artists of all ages creating chalk art masterpieces and competing for cash prizes.

It also happens to be the Rose Festival this weekend, with a rose show, garden experts, local artists, food, entertainment and so much more.

The events are tonight and tomorrow in the Rose District.

Black Gold Days

Glenpool's Black Gold Days continue this weekend.

You can find everything from entertainment to food trucks, crafts, a carnival, a petting zoo, and more. It’s all to celebrate the oil heritage of the town.

The fun continues through Sunday at Black Gold Park in Glenpool.

Muskogee Oktoberfest

The city of Muskogee is hosting its first Oktoberfest celebration!

This is a family-friendly event with German food, music, games, and beer.

It’s Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Muskogee Civic Center.

Cat Video Fest

Last but not least is a favorite for many. The Cat Video Fest returns to the Philbrook Museum.

You can find a spot on the lawn to watch some wonderful cat videos and also shop some cool merch and maybe even leave with a cat of your own.

Check-in is at 5 p.m. and the film starts at 7:45 p.m.
