EmpowerWear Campaign In Tulsa Helps Women Dress For Success

A new program in Tulsa is giving women the opportunity to donate gently used clothing to support others in need. The initiative, EmpowerWear, is running throughout October and aims to provide professional and casual attire for women preparing for job interviews and career opportunities.

Fox Cleaners, located at 4102 S. Harvard Ave., serves as the main collection site for the campaign. The business has partnered with Dress for Success Tulsa, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering women by offering professional clothing and career development resources. This collaboration came about through Fox Cleaners’ affiliation with America’s Best Cleaners, a nationwide network of dry cleaners.

The EmpowerWear campaign is designed to help women feel confident and prepared for interviews, a key step toward employment. Donations of professional clothing, casual wear, and accessories such as shoes, jewelry, and handbags are accepted. The goal is to help women enter the workforce with a renewed sense of confidence.

Donations can be made at Fox Cleaners during business hours or placed in the 24/7 kiosk. Contributors are asked to leave a note saying it's for the EmpowerWear campaign to ensure the donations reach Dress for Success Tulsa.
