A jury is hearing closing arguments in the trial of an Inola pastor charged with eight counts of lewd or indecent acts involving several girls.
Investigators say Roy Shoop and his wife gave the girls horse training lessons, and the girls worked around the Shoops' ranch.
One of the victims was 12 years old when the allegations were made.
The victims, who say Roy Shoop inappropriately touched them, were in the courtroom and at times became emotional during the prosecution’s closing arguments.
The other side of the courtroom was once again filled with Shoop’s family and supporters, who prayed together outside the courtroom.

Prosecutors called the victims heroes for coming forward, saying the girls had no motive to fabricate the accusations. They say the victims trusted Shoop and that he has forever scarred them, adding that this trial has forced them to relive the trauma.
Prosecutors are asking the jury to find Shoop guilty.
Shoop’s attorney argues that one of the victims made up the allegations for attention, while another fabricated the claims because she wasn’t getting paid.
He is asking the jury to find Shoop not guilty, citing a lack of evidence.
