Three people were injured during a shooting Wednesday night in Tulsa, police say.

Tulsa Police said it happened around 8:30 p.m. at a home near E. 43rd St. N. and North Hartford Avenue.

Officers said two adults had severe injuries, but their lives were not in jeopardy.

A juvenile suffered a minor injury, police said. All three people were transported for treatment.

TPD said the suspect ran from the scene and that the police helicopter and K9 are searching for them.

TPD said it was not a random encounter; the suspect arrived in a car, was in a conversation with the people inside the home, and then both parties started firing shots.

So far, it's unclear what led to the shooting.
