Special Olympics Oklahoma is holding a big soccer tournament this week!

More than 90 teams were at the Owasso Soccer Club on Wednesday. The teams pair athletes with disabilities together with athletes who do not have a disability.

Special Olympics said these games help provide a sense of unity and help all the athletes get to know one another.

"I just love getting out, participating, playing and getting to know new people and meeting old friends... some of these guys I've known for years. Feels like I've known them all my life," said Jordan Dunkin of Sand Springs.

The organization spends a year planning for this event.
