New Data Reveals Trump’s Strong Lead Over Harris In Oklahoma Voter Preferences

New polling shows Donald Trump leading in Oklahoma with 65% support among voters, compared to 29% for Kamala Harris. Trump is favored by Republicans, conservatives, and most demographic groups across the state.

New polling data for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election in Oklahoma reveals strong support for former President Donald Trump, particularly among Republican and conservative voters.

According to recent polling by WPA Intelligence, 65% of Oklahoma voters would choose Trump if the election were held today, compared to 29% supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate.

That number is similar to the results of the 2020 election between Trump and President Joe Biden which saw Trump win 65% to 32%. The poll still shows 3% to still be undecided, while Independent candidate Christopher Garrity and Libertarian Chase Oliver are both polling at 1% among Oklahoma voters.

Here are 3 Takeaways From WPA Intelligence's poll:

1) Trump Carries Nearly All Republicans; Harris Carries Most Democrats

Among Republicans, Trump has overwhelming support, with 89% favoring him. In contrast, Harris only garners 8% support from this group. Independents are more divided, with 55% backing Trump, while 33% support Harris. Democrats greatly favor Harris, with 65% of their votes, but Trump still captures 24% of registered Democratic voters.

Looking at political ideology, conservatives strongly favor Trump, with 93% support, while 84% of liberals back Harris. Moderates are more evenly split, with 41% favoring Trump and 48% supporting Harris. 5% of Moderates remain undecided.

2) Trump Favored By Most Demographics

The poll also breaks down education levels and found that Trump leads among those with a high school education or less, with 74% support, while Harris performs better among voters with postgraduate degrees, capturing 39% of their vote. Harris only has support from 20% of voters with a high school diploma or less meanwhile Trump is backed by 50% of postgraduate voters who were polled.

70% of white voters favor Donald Trump, with 24% supporting Harris. Trump also has a narrow lead among all minority groups according to WPAi with 48% while 44% support Harris.

Among men aged 18-54, 75% back Trump with 20% backing Harris. Women of the same age group are also supporting Trump with 55% over Harris with 38%. Men and Women who are 55 and over lean heavily toward Trump, with 75% of men and 60% of women saying they would vote for the former President if the election was today. Just 33% of women only 23% of men over 55 said they would vote for Harris.

3) Congressional Districts Show Slight Divide Among Rural, City Voters

Among Oklahoma's more rural Congressional Districts Trump has a wide margin.

  1. CD2 - Trump: 80% | Harris: 19%
  2. CD3 - Trump: 68% | Harris: 25%
  3. CD4 - Trump: 72% | Harris: 21%

The race is closer in CD 1(Tulsa) and CD 5 (Oklahoma City), though Trump still holds a healthy lead.

  1. CD1 - Trump: 55% | Harris: 38%
  2. CD5 - Trump: 53% | Harris: 38%


The polling data highlights the complexity of the electorate in Oklahoma, with Trump leading in most demographic groups, though Harris holds her ground among liberals, minorities, and voters with higher education​.
