Riverfield Students Bring 'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child' To Oklahoma Stage

Riverfield Country Day School in West Tulsa has made theater history as the first school in Oklahoma to stage "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", following permission from Broadway Licensing.

Set 19 years after the seventh book, the play follows the next generation of Hogwarts students, exploring themes of resilience and friendship in dark times.

The cast includes 37 student actors who perform with British accents, along with a tech crew of nine, bringing the story to life with strong community and administrative support.

The production opened last weekend, with three performances remaining on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The final performance is on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m.

Riverfield Country Day School invites the community to experience this unique event, offering a chance to see this celebrated story unfold on stage in Oklahoma.
