News On 6 is remembering some of the people and moments who helped make us "Oklahoma's Own" over the past 75 years.

Lewis Meyer turned his love for books into what became the longest-running book show in America.

The Sapulpa native was a writer and bookstore owner who gave book reviews in his 40-year-long segment "Lewis Meyer Bookshelf."

Lewis's charisma and theatrical commentary made him one of the most beloved on-air personalities over our 75 years.

Our hour-long special "75 On 6: A Celebration of Oklahoma's Own" will air at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18.
