Man Accused Of Kidnapping In Tulsa Arrested For Failing To Appear In Court

A man who was arrested for kidnapping a woman and having drugs is back in jail after failing to show up to court.

Aaron Pruitt was arrested in June and accused of kidnapping, drug possession and threatening violence.

Tulsa Police said officers were called to 41st and South 241st East Ave. after a woman was found handcuffed to the inside of a pickup.

She told officers Pruitt kidnapped her a week ago but she escaped and he found her again. He allegedly said he would shoot her if she left.

The woman located someone at a gas station for help.

Officers found meth and fentanyl in the truck along with weapons, a dog leash and zip ties.

Pruitt was released on bond but didn't show up to court recently and he was arrested again on Thursday.
