It’s been a tough year for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who are 0-7 in Big 12 play and have been labeled home underdogs to Texas Tech.
For this senior class, including standout Brennan Presley, it’s a disappointing way to close their careers, but their effort and leadership remain inspiring.
“He refuses to take a break,” Head Coach Mike Gundy said of Presley. “He continues to compete and sets a great role model for younger players.”
With the Cowboys out of bowl contention for the first time in 18 years, attention shifts to the future.
Young players may get more playing time in the final two games, and recruiting efforts are focused on building the next generation of talent.
“We have a good class of high school players for 2025,” Gundy said, acknowledging the uncertainty the transfer portal could bring.
The Cowboys will aim to end the season on a positive note, but changes are certain for the roster by next fall.
