A man was arrested after attempting to rob a bank in Tulsa earlier this month, according to police.

Tulsa Police said 23-year-old Xavion Paggett attempted to rob the Bank of Oklahoma at 71st and Sheridan on Nov. 4.

TPD said Paggett approached a teller, claiming he wanted to cash a check, then displayed a pistol and demanded cash.

Officers said the situation was interrupted when another employee arrived, distracting the suspect.

Paggett fled the bank without obtaining any money.

On Nov. 14, Tulsa Police arrested Paggett and recovered the pistol used in the attempted robbery.

Paggett faces a charge of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
