Car fire prevented from spreading to SW OKC home

A vehicle caught fire Thursday night in southwest Oklahoma City, according to firefighters.

 The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a call reporting a vehicle fire at around 10:30 p.m. near Southwest 39th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fire crews said they found the car on fire near a home in the area when they arrived.

Crews were able to contain the fire before it did any actual damage to the house.

No injuries were reported.
