What President Trump Spoke About During His Inauguration Speech

Trump said he would:

1. Declare a national emergency at the southern border and halt all illegal entry while beginning the process of returning criminal aliens.
2. Direct the Cabinet to defeat record inflation and rapidly bring down costs and prices
3. Declare a national energy emergency and take action to increase domestic energy production and exports
4. Establish a new Department of Government Efficiency to "restore competence and effectiveness" to the federal government
5. Sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and restore free speech
6. Reinstate any service members who were unjustly expelled for objecting to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate
7. Announce plans to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and restore the name of Mount McKinley.
8. Promised to reclaim the Panama Canal from Panama
