Subject of Pottawatomie County manhunt taken into custody

The subject of a manhunt in Pottawatomie County has been apprehended, according to the sheriff's office.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office reported it had located and apprehended Michael Benham, who deputies say intentionally hit their vehicle during a pursuit.

Benham escaped on foot in the area near Trousdale Road and Highway 102, but was later found and taken into custody.

The exact circumstances of Benham's arrest have not been made public.
