Man accused of fatal-hit-and-run involving OSU student expected in court

A man accused of hitting and killing an Oklahoma State University student on campus in 2024 and later leaving the scene is due in court on Tuesday.

Court records say the victim, 19-year-old Gabrielle Long, was struck while crossing the street on Feb. 22.

The driver, Tyler Peters, was arrested and charged in Long's death. Peters later pleaded not guilty.

Peters will arrive in the courtroom Tuesday afternoon.
