The 2025 Girl Scout cookie-selling season is about to kick off, and this year comes with some changes, including the final chance to buy the beloved s’mores cookie.
“Our product lines changed just a bit, but the traditional cookies are still available,” said Kat Marin, interim CEO of Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma. “And we’re going to be covering 39 counties across Oklahoma with all of our cookie sales in Western Oklahoma … something like 13,000 opportunities for people to come support our entrepreneurs.”
Junior Scouts Alexis Goodson and Braylee Lawson said their troops plan to use the proceeds to support local projects and activities.
“We’re just gonna buy whatever we need for our troop,” said Goodson, a member of Troop 494.
Lawson added, “We use our money from cookie sales to go on different trips and do different activities within our community, so service projects in our community.”
For those looking to find a cookie booth, Marin shared that technology is making it easier than ever.
“Great news is we have an app,” she said. “So if you want to find a booth, you can put ‘find cookies’ on Google or go to our website at Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, and we will point you with your postal code to all of those mini booths that are available.”
Cookie sales officially begin Feb. 1, with in-person booths opening Feb. 7. Scouts will be selling cookies at booths, online and through direct delivery.
