I-40 reopened after fatal crash near Cromwell

CROMWELL, Okla. -
One person is dead after a crash Thursday morning near Cromwell, authorities say.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Mile Marker 205.
As a result of the crash, a backup stretching several miles formed in the eastbound lanes. However, both lanes of I-40 have been fully reopened.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
