Beam Live: Oklahoma City's newest listening room and event space opens

Beam Live, a new music venue located at 50 Penn Place in the Belle Isle area of Oklahoma City, offers listening rooms, private event space, and open jam nights featuring a variety of performances.

"This is Oklahoma City's new listening room-slash-dinner club," said Wayman McCallister, a representative of Beam Live. "You can have a bite to eat and enjoy the show."

Food is available for order from the Belle Isle Restaurant & Pub, which is located downstairs.

Beam Live features both touring acts and local performers. Four months ago, the venue launched open jam nights, giving musicians of all levels—and even comedians—a chance to take the stage.

"We have full backline capability, so we can accommodate full bands, solo acts, duos, acoustic, electric—you name it," McCallister said. "We've had a lot of sign-ups lately. It's grown tremendously."

Beam Live is also available for private events, including wedding receptions, birthday parties, and corporate gatherings. Catering is available through Belle Isle Restaurant & Pub, with food delivered directly upstairs to the venue.
