1 arrested after pursuit ends in Norman

One person is in custody after a police pursuit Wednesday morning in Cleveland County, authorities say.

Moore Police say officers initiated a pursuit for a driver who fled from a traffic stop near Northwest 23rd Street and South Santa Fe Avenue in Moore.

According to Moore Police, the driver continued fleeing from officers onto southbound Interstate 35 Service Road.

Norman Police were called to assist with the pursuit, which ended along North Interstate Drive south of West Indian Hills Road.

The driver was arrested once the pursuit ended. There were no injuries.
