Indigo Girls, Five for Fighting, and more coming to Scissortail Park for concert series

Scissortail Park has announced its annual free concert series lineup, featuring chart-topping acts like Five for Fighting, Vertical Horizon, and Indigo Girls, kicking off May 18th with the OKC Philharmonic and running through October.

Scissortail Park has released the lineup for its annual concert series, which includes several chart-topping acts.

The free concert series returns to Love’s Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn starting in May and runs through October.

OKC Philharmonic kicks off the series in its first of two performances on Sunday May 18th. Other acts include Five for Fighting, Vertical Horizon and Indigo Girls.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

“This series is all about uniting the community through music," says Eric Himan, VP of Programming. "We can’t wait for everyone to experience these fantastic performances including the series finale with the rescheduled performance by the Indigo Girls.”

Friday, May 23 – “Park Electric!” EDM at the Neon Night Market
Saturday, June 21 – Wilderado with special guest
Saturday, July 19 – “Summer of Soul Night” featuring PC Band and the Summer of Soul House Band
Saturday, August 16 – “Scissortail Rewind” featuring Five for Fighting and Vertical Horizon
Sunday, September 14 – OKC Philharmonic
Saturday, October 18 – Indigo Girls with special guest
