The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) is hosting Momentum, an exhibition featuring Oklahoma artists under 30.
The event is designed to help emerging artists gain exposure, sell their work, and connect with the community.
News 9 spoke with OVAC committee member Tiarra Harper and emerging curator Anna Smist on Wednesday about the upcoming event on the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch.
"This gives them an opportunity not only to make their art, but to display it and even sell it, and connect with different community leaders and things across the city," Harper said.
"So we have some performance artists, we have some performance artists, and we have some sculptures," Smist said. "There's a really cool wave machine and also some paintings."
The event will take place April 5-6, beginning at 7 p.m.
On April 4, a VIP event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and transition into the main event.
On April 5, "pay what you can" hours will run from 1-4 p.m. to ensure accessibility to the artwork.
Visit Momentum's official website to learn more about Momentum, the OVAC's mission and to donate. Sponsors are invited, as their contributions are what makes events like these possible for artists and viewers alike.
