The world's largest big-top circus is making a stop in Oklahoma City, drawing in residents from across the area to Remington Park.
The Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch stopped by the circus to learn more about what guests can expect.
Garden Bros Nuclear Circus marketing director Chad Brendan said there are eleven planned shows in Oklahoma City, beginning Thursday afternoon and the final show happening Sunday evening.
"We have all kinds of things, we're still setting things up," Brendan said. "We're going to have our family fun zone with big bungee jumps, they're setting stuff up out really right now, we've got race cars out there, and then if you want to upgrade to VIP tickets ... Stop by our VIP booth and upgrade to VIP seats.
Brendan said the circus employs over 200 people, with a Hollywood theme set for this year's tour.
"Our owners love the theater, and they've designed this whole big top after a big theater," Brendan said. "As you walk in here, there's gonna be a red carpet welcoming you, complete with paparazzi. Once you get inside our little concessions area, or our green room, if you will, you're going to be greeted by a big clapboard where the family can take pictures walking in."
Brendan also said despite having set show times, the circus never completely stops.
"This show is nonstop," Brendan said. "We have all kinds of thrill shows, acts, we don't stop our show. We don't have a traditional ringmaster. Our show is just nonstop, two hours of action with a 15-minute intermission to rest."
