Wildfires once again sparked in Logan County and the OKC metro on Monday. This comes just days after deadly wildfires hit the state, killing 4 people and leaving hundreds without homes. The largest fire on Monday prompted evacuations in eastern Logan County, while fires reignited sparked out west near Leedey, Oklahoma.

The Luther Community Service Center is accepting donations for fire victims. Fire victims can come and pick up clothing, and shoes, and ready-to-go food boxes. These boxes are packed with nonperishable food items, plates and utensils, diapers and even baby formula. They also have buckets of cleaning supplies for those who need them.

Air assets are being deployed to various locations to help battle the wildfire outbreak.

In Luther, 22 volunteer firefighters have been working around the clock to contain the fire and extinguish lingering hot spots, and they're expressing appreciation for the help they've received, even through exhaustion.
"We take pride in being able to stop those things. We just weren't able to get in front of it. We just couldn't," said Luther Fire Chief Joseph Figueroa.

Fire crews are responding to a grass fire in Edmond near 206th Street and Portland Avenue. No structures have been damaged, nor currently at risk.

Wildfires in Norman have destroyed half of the homes on a street near Lake Thunderbird. The fires began in a heavily wooded area and tore through the neighborhood.

News 9's crews just arrived to a reported scene of a grass fire that Oklahoma City Fire crews are responding to at NW 192nd and Portland. The fire burned about 10 acres but did not damage any homes or structures.

Logan County officials added another evacuation location: E-W Road is Indian Meridian to Pott Co Road (Co Line) and N-S Road is Charter Oak to Industrial.

Wildfires are rapidly spreading toward East Charter Oak Road near South Triple XXX Road, putting homes and property at risk in Logan County.

The city of Edmond shared the following update about its fire preparations for Monday:
Due to continued extreme fire conditions, the Emergency Operations Center reopened March 17 at 9 a.m. under unified command and continues to actively monitor fire conditions in the City of Edmond and surrounding areas. We currently have 6 engines, 6 brush pumpers, a ladder truck, and 1 command vehicle in service and available to respond within Edmond.
