Wildfires, evacuations in Eastern Logan County continue

Stormtrackers and Sky News 9 are currently following a fire that has broken out in Logan County.

The fire began 5.5 miles southeast of Langston, near the eastern county line near County Road 75 and 770 Road.

According to Watch Duty there are at least 3 wildfires burning in eastern Logan County, including the "33 Road Fire," which has burned more than 30,000 acres since Friday.

3:25 p.m. - Due to a wildfire, the Logan County emergency manager has called for an immediate evacuation of the northeast corner of Logan County. If you live north of County Road 76, south of the Cimarron River, east of Dobbs Road, or west of 3310 Rd (Lincoln County), evacuate now.

3:35 p.m. - Most of the wildfire in northeastern Logan County has been contained. According to Sky News 9 pilot Jim Gardner, fire crews responded quickly, preventing the blaze from spreading further. Stay with News 9 for updates.
