WATCH: Wildfire in Sweetwater, OK: Val and Amy Castor report

A fast-moving wildfire fueled by 70 mph winds has spread from the Texas state line into Oklahoma, scorching mainly grasslands.

The fire, burning approximately six miles north-northwest of Sweetwater, has drawn a large response from firefighting crews.

"There’s no stopping this fire right now," said News 9 StormTracker Val Castor. 

Firefighters continue working against the high winds to protect land and property as the situation unfolds.
