A home caught fire Wednesday morning in northwest Oklahoma City, according to firefighters.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says crews were called at around 1:30 a.m. to a residence near Northwest 8th Street and North Indiana Avenue.

Crews say flames were coming through the roof when they got on the scene, and a dog was trapped inside.

"There was one occupant that was already out of the structure, there [were] no other occupants," OKCFD Maj. Zeth Hinten said. "There was a dog inside; they got in there and were able to rescue the dog from the fire, and we got the fire put out.”

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
