Bill Clinton to speak at Remembrance Ceremony for 30th anniversary of OKC bombing

Former President Bill Clinton will attend this year's Remembrance Ceremony of the Oklahoma City bombing, serving as the keynote speaker, Kari Watkins, President and CEO of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, confirmed.

Former President Bill Clinton will attend the 30th Remembrance Ceremony of the Oklahoma City bombing, serving as the keynote speaker, Kari Watkins, President and CEO of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, confirmed.


"We are honored to have President Clinton back," Watkins said. "He’s been back several times and we’re honored that he wants to come back and be part of this important time of remembrance and education."

               

Clinton, who was president when the bombing occurred on April 19, 1995, last attended the 20th anniversary remembrance ceremony.


The ceremony will honor the 168 lives lost and those impacted by the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building that took place 30 years ago.
