Lexington family searches for dog after trailer fire
A Lexington family is searching for a missing dog Thursday morning after a fire consumes their trailer in Lexington.Thursday, March 27th 2025, 4:49 am
LEXINGTON, Okla. -
The cause of a trailer fire Thursday morning in Lexington is under investigation, according to firefighters.
Multiple agencies worked to put out a fire that began at around 3 a.m. in a trailer near Highway 39 in Lexington.
Firefighters say the blaze extended to a nearby vehicle, and crews had to bring in extra water from the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center to help put it out.
Additionally, the family who lived inside the trailer says they are looking for their dog, who escaped the flames.
No one was injured.
