The Oklahoma City Police Department has released new information on a shooting that happened at a northeast OKC apartment complex on Thursday.
Police say the shooting happened when four suspects showed up at the victim's home to fight.
According to police, some of the people involved in the fight had been in a relationship and had fought before.
Police say the suspects confronted the victims near Northeast 36th Street and Kelley. Officers say that when one person tried to break up the fight with a bat, they, along with two others, were shot.
Two victims were taken to the hospital, and the third victim was treated on scene, according to police.
Officers then detained the suspects and found the firearm in a vacant lot. Three people, all minors, were taken into custody near the scene. They are now in a juvenile detention center.
"Because of their quick response time, obviously that's gonna alleviate or at least lessen any risk to the public," said OCPD Sgt. Jon Skuta.
18-year-old Antonio Bowen was booked into the County Jail on shooting complaints.
Police say the victims taken to the hospital are in serious, but stable condition.
