The OKC City Council approved plans for a new paintball park in southwest Oklahoma City.
City Councilors approved Epic Paintball's move to 27 acres of wooded terrain at Northwest 10th and County Line road.
Epic is currently operating on 12 acres near Swisher Park near I-40 and Morgan Rd.
Randy Coles, with Epic Paintball, said the new location will provide more space and shade, along with unique features.
The new space will also feature bunkers and obstacles like their current location does Coles said. He hopes to eventually add an old aircraft to the new park that paintballers can use for unique play opportunities.
Epic hopes to move to the new location this Fall.
