Mussels alla Nduja at home

Description

We're happy to welcome back Chef Scott Van Tuyl with Prossimo, showing us how to do Mussels alla Nduja.


Ingredients

  • 1/2oz…..Olive Oil
  • 2oz……..Sliced Shallots
  • 1oz……..Sliced Garlic
  • 2oz……..Nduja
  • 2oz……..White Wine
  • 3oz…….Chicken Broth
  • 1lb……..PEI Mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Saute shallots, garlic, and nduja in olive oil.
  2. Step 2: Deglaze with wine and reduce by half.
  3. Step 3: Add chicken broth, salt, pepper and bring to a boil
  4. Step 4: Add mussels and cook for 8 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Pour into a large bowl and serve immediately
