We're happy to welcome back Chef Scott Van Tuyl with Prossimo, showing us how to do Mussels alla Nduja.
Ingredients
- 1/2oz…..Olive Oil
- 2oz……..Sliced Shallots
- 1oz……..Sliced Garlic
- 2oz……..Nduja
- 2oz……..White Wine
- 3oz…….Chicken Broth
- 1lb……..PEI Mussels, cleaned and debearded
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Saute shallots, garlic, and nduja in olive oil.
- Step 2: Deglaze with wine and reduce by half.
- Step 3: Add chicken broth, salt, pepper and bring to a boil
- Step 4: Add mussels and cook for 8 minutes.
- Step 5: Pour into a large bowl and serve immediately
