2 homes damaged in NW OKC blaze

Several animals were rescued after two homes caught fire Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

Two residences were damaged in a fire Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says crews arrived at the scene of the fire near West Hefner Road and North Western Avenue.


Firefighters say several animals were rescued from one of the homes, including two dogs, a cat and a rabbit.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
