Former OKC apartment manager charged with embezzlement

A former apartment manager in Oklahoma City has been charged with embezzlement, according to court records.

Investigators say Lori Nichols lived and worked at the Eagles Crest Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City, using the apartment's system to write fake checks and money orders to avoid paying rent for five months.

Records show Nichols left her position and the apartment in January.
