1 in custody following armed robbery at NW OKC restaurant

One person was arrested Friday morning after an armed robbery in northwest Oklahoma City, police say.

Officers say they were called to a restaurant near Northwest Expressway and North Rockwell Avenue just after 1 a.m.

Police tell News 9 the suspect held up two employees before injuring one and leaving the scene.

Later, OCPD said officers had apprehended the suspect. No names have been released at this time.
