The News 9 Weather Team is tracking storms as they move into the Metro.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have been issued for multiple counties.

WATCHES AND WARNINGS:

  1. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma and Payne County until 12:45 a.m.
  2. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cleveland, McClain, and Oklahoma County until 12:15 a.m.
  3. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Hughes, Pottawatomie, and Seminole County until 12:00 a.m.
  4. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Okfuskee County until 3:00 a.m.
  5. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Caddo, Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Payne and Washita County until 4:00 a.m.

12:45 A.M.

Tracker Hank Brown spotted a jack-knifed semi-truck on westbound 1-44, near Penn Square Mall.

Highway Patrol has shut down all of I-44 in this area.

12:20 A.M.

Val and Amy Castor are in Northeast Oklahoma City I-35 and Wilshire, where rain is starting to pick up.

11:30 P.M.

Multiple counties are under Severe Thunderstorm Watches and warnings. At this time, no tornado warnings are in effect.

9:45 P.M.



9:30 P.M.: Golf ball-sized hail moves into Wynnewood.
