Flooding in Moore as storms, heavy rains hit OKC metro

As severe weather sweeps through central and southern Oklahoma Saturday, multiple water rescues took place in Moore, Oklahoma.

19th is closed between Broadway and Tower Drive.

A News 9 photojournalist captured one of those rescues live on air at Eastern Avenue and SE 56th St. at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

Video captured someone in nearly waist-deep water standing near a flooded car, as water swirled around the vehicle.

A flash flood warning continues in the Moore area.
