The westbound lanes of Interstate 240 have been closed after a spill involving hazardous materials, according to firefighters.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department says all lanes of westbound traffic west of South MacArthur Boulevard along the interstate have been closed while crews work to clean the spill.
OKCFD says approximately 15 one-gallon containers of muriatic acid spilled onto the roadway, although it is not known what caused the spill at this time.
Muriatic acid is also known as hydrochloric acid, which is corrosive and hazardous to humans.
This is a developing story.
